High-Grade Material Features
The custom cabinetry in our homes is often considered a jewel of organizational design because of its ability to maximize storage space while inherently contributing to the feel and functionality of our kitchens and bathrooms. All of our cabinetry features soft-close hinges and drawer slides, doors and drawer facings crafted from solid maple wood, and high-quality maple plywood drawer boxes and case construction. Unlike stock cabinetry, which is often constructed of particle board, the solid wood and plywood construction of our cabinets better resists moisture and temperature changes common to Central Texas as well as the effects of standard wear and tear. Paired with beautiful painted or stained finishes, they have superior durability and longevity that ensures continuous value and usefulness in daily life.
All of our homes feature solid-core interior doors which offer superior durability, sound dampening, and fire resistance as compared to hollow-core counterparts that are typically utilized in new construction. Unlike the honeycomb cardboard or paper matrix that comprises a hollow core, the cores of solid-core doors are composed of dense fiberwood which accounts for their weight and abilities to absorb sound and impact. In the unfortunate event of a fire, solid-core doors burn more slowly than hollow-core doors and can provide an additional measure of time that can be used to contain fire and allow you to safely leave your home.
A sound, long-lasting roof is one of the primary lines of defense when it comes to protecting the structure built beneath it. We are committed to ensuring the value of your home through quality construction that involves composite shingles (25-year or higher) and metal roofing materials designed to enhance your home’s longevity and appearance. Both types of roofing offer excellent fire resistance, a range of colors, and durable protection from the elements.
With an average rainfall of 32 inches per year, the Central Texas environment typically has plentiful moisture. To maximize positive drainage, we provide seamless gutters and gutter screens on all of our homes as a measure of protection to exterior walls, the foundation, and sensitive landscaping. This ensures the prevention of rot around soffits and fascia as well as potential foundation damage due to water absorption. Plants and landscaping around your foundation perimeter are protected from roof runoff, helping to keep your outdoor landscape beautiful and your home safe and dry.
Our commitment to workmanship starts well before we break ground on a new project and continues long after a project is complete. Throughout the home building process, we utilize the services of trusted engineering professionals and construct our homes with the aid of locally-sourced tradesmen and craftsmen who are committed to the same vision of quality that we hold. In addition to standard inspections carried out at varied intervals during the construction process, all of our homes go through a rigorous comprehensive home inspection at final completion by an independent inspector. The objective viewpoint and feedback that results helps ensure that you receive a home built to last with the highest quality.
With the purchase of your home, you can be assured of our continued commitment to quality through a 1-2-10-year builder and remodeler warranty program. We provide personable, direct warranty service through an in-house claims department and partner with ACES Builders Warranty as a third-partyadministrator to help assist in facilitation of warranty guidelines and general maintenance information. New homeowners also receive a highly informative electronic document packet that includes the details of the fixtures, finishes, appliances, and materials installed within their home. With all of these elements, our goal is to provide warranty service that minimizes inconvenience, keeps you informed, and resolves any concerns in an effective, efficient manner while ensuring your continued enjoyment of you home.
